Dress Like a Gilmore:

Live Like a Gilmore:
Go golfing and use it as an excuse to wear a dorky outfit.

"I need coffee in an IV."

Pilot

"People are particularly stupid today, I can't talk to any more of them."

Synopsis:
Rory is accepted to Chilton. In order to pay for tuition, Lorelai is forced to ask her parents for a loan. They agree on the condition that Lorelai and Rory attend Friday night dinners each week.

Dress Like a Gilmore:

Although this season's wardrobe is still stuck in the 90's fashion, there are a few key pieces that are timeless.
In the opening scene, Lorelai shows up to Luke's wearing a pink cardigan and knitted striped beanie. This look shows her individual, child-like personality.

Live Like a Gilmore:

Install Friday night dinners. Whether it's with family or a group of close friends, start a tradition of having dinner once a week. Since Fridays are busy nights for most people, you may want to revert to a week night instead.

Carry coffee everywhere. Even if you can't afford to always buy a cup of coffee, invest in a plastic or ceramic mug that looks like a typical disposable coffee cup.
